Our story

The passing of the guard.

BoutiqueHQ wasn't researched into existence. It was built inside a 32-year boutique — one of the UK's busiest — by the generation taking it over.

Every boutique like ours has two systems. The official one: a paper diary, an alterations book, a card machine on a contract nobody remembers signing. And the real one: the founder's memory. She knows which gown is behind the counter for which bride, which school the navy dress mustn't be sold to again, which customer needs calling when the van arrives.

That second system doesn't hand over. It walks out the door every evening at six.

We're the generation that runs the shop's Instagram from a phone — and then writes appointments into a paper diary with a pencil. The gap between those two facts is this company.

So we built the till we always wanted, inside our own shop, and ran it through real seasons — real Saturdays with five fitting rooms going, real prom weeks, real brides in real tears when something slipped. Then we rebuilt everything that failed. BoutiqueHQ is that system, made available to every boutique like ours.

Heritage you can point at.

“Built by people who understand the trade” is easy to say. Here's what three decades of shop floor actually produced:

Thirty-two years of alteration chaos on paper tickets……so every alteration has a photo, a deadline, and a status the bride can see from her phone.
Decades of “has the dress arrived?” phone calls……so her pocket buzzes the moment it lands — a Wallet pass, not a voicemail.
A lifetime of Saturday no-shows on the busiest rail……so booking takes a card and the no-show fee is one tap — your rules, your money.
Two girls, one school, the same dress……so the till checks the school before it sells. The prom clash died in 2026.
Years of re-keying card machine totals at closing……so every payment — tap, link, plan, deposit — lands in one ledger against one order.

And the part we won't compromise.

We run a shop. You run a shop. That only works if the wall between every shop's data is absolute — so we made it architecture, not policy: every shop's data lives in its own isolated database, visible to nobody else. Not to other shops. Not to brands. Not to us beyond keeping the lights on, and every such access is logged where you can see it.

The data wall: your data is never sold, never pooled, never used to train anyone's model, and never visible to any other business — including ours.

See what three decades feels like.

Three fields, no card — your shop is live in under a minute.
